There are two types of autoclaves manufactured- vertical and horizontal. In Vertical Autoclave the matter to be autoclaved (or) sterilized are loaded from the top, thus are also sometimes known as Top loading Autoclave whereas in Horizontal Autoclave the matter is kept in a tray which is kept horizontally.

What is Grossing Table

Grossing Table more commonly known as Grossing Workstation is utilized for assessing surgical specimens and thus are also sometimes referred as Surgical Pathology Workstations or Microscopy Tables. The formalin vapours and polluted air which is full of contamination is sucked out from work table with the help of built-in blowers. The constant negative pressure of the workstation is sustained by high-efficiency centrifugal blowers which suck all the formalin vapours along with the contaminated & toxic air. The integrated fluorescent light in the Tanco’s Tabletop Grossing station illuminates the entire work area, whilst an inbuilt UV Germicidal lamp is one of the standard features of Tanco’s work table.
